Christmas Family Pictures, 2010!!

Here are our 2010 Christmas pictures.

We celebrated Christmas in about five different shifts between going out to California to see the great-grandparents and then seeing both the McMullan and Jennings families! So, many more pictures to come!

There's are new man on the block...and his name is Eric! So much cuter than Ken don't you think?!!

Happy 6th Birthday, Rachel!

Six years ago today, Brooks and I became first time parents as we held our beautiful new baby girl in our arms. Rachel was so little and so perfect...she's still little and still the perfect little girl just for us! Thank you, Lord for our perfect little girl.

Singing

This morning in church the kids sang. We weren't quite sure what do expect...and it was a sweet treat! We've decided that Eric may not be our performer! He faced to the side (looking at us instead of the crowd) the entire time and he might have sang about two verses out of three songs.

Now, Rachel. She is "serious" performer. So serious, in fact, that it was hard to get her to smile!! She was concentrating so hard on all the words and songs! She was very good...maybe a bit rhythmically challenged on her bouncing...but hey! Hands in pockets, Eric checking himself out on the big screen behind the kids! His face shows just how impressed he is with this whole thing!
Oh man, I love this boy. I mean, seriously. Could he be any less interested in performing for the crowd!? Funny thing is he talked about it all afternoon and how fun it was! Really? You look so thrilled, Bud!

Oh...she finally made eye contact with us! There is her smile!

Rachel's 6th Birthday Party!

Happy 6th birthday sweet girl! This was her party...it was a "fancy ladies" party! All the girls were dressed up in their fancy dresses. Then we got all of Brooks' grandma's old hats and jewelry out. Then the girls did a little fashion show before we made necklaces, bracelets and decorated cupcakes and little ice cream sundaes.

It was a great day, and I must say...Rachel is a BEAUTIFUL fancy lady!! Mommy with her fancy lady!

Rapunzel came out the week before her party and she was the hit gift!

Halle and Rachel...sweet cousins! I can't (actually, I can) to see this same picture when they are eighteen. They are so beautiful...inside and out! We've been blessed with six amazing years and are looking forward to what the next six decades will bring!

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving this year was fantastic...unfortunately, I left my camera at my parents house so I only have pictures of half of it and Alicia is supposed to email me the McMullan half (hint-hint)!
