Happy Easter, 2012!!

Happy Easter!! We colored eggs last night and the kids were so serious about making them look beautiful!! Aunt Gloria was a big helper and Cooper did a great job with her help! And for Easter morning we all put on our bright spring colors and enjoyed a wonderful Easter morning at church! Here is our beautiful family...

Easter Scramble...

Every spring, the YMCA does a morning of fun an egg "hunt" for the kids. The kids favorite part of the activities always seems to be the fireman. They LOVED seeing the firetruck up close!!

Then came the scramble for eggs! Cooper is getting really good at finding eggs!!

Spring Soccer!

Cutest goalie ever!!! Eric played his first season of indoor soccer this past month. If you ask him about it, he'd say he LOVED it!! If you watched him play...well, you'd have to wonder! He doesn't have the world's greatest stamina just yet, and therefore, found that if you play goalie, you don't have to run as much! Smart boy!! So, here is our little goalie!!

Happy Fishin' Folks!

Papa and Daddy took the kids fishing at the annual trout derby last weekend. Too bad there were NO trout to be caught!!! Oh well, it was the time together that matters! Here are the kiddos waiting patiently for a fish to bite...oh well! They look cute doing it!!

Happy 5th Birthday, Eric!!

Oh, how I love you....happy 5th birthday, Eric!
It's all about super-heros in our world!! It's hard to believe how quickly these past five years have gone by! One day, we wake up and have a little boy to bring home to our house full of pink. I remember thinking, what now? We don't have any boy toys...what will I do with a boy!? Well...it didn't take long to figure it out and now here we are five years later with the most amazing little man who loves all things boys! Eric has a heart of gold...he is genuinely kind, sweet, thoughtful, compassionate and loving. He is one of a kind and we are blessed beyond measure that God chose us to be his parents! Our prayer is that we can continue to teach him and guide him to be the Godly man we know Christ has in store for him to be!!

For his birthday party with his buddies we did a super-hero party! Each kiddo had his own super-hero shirt that we made for them!! We didn't do much, we just played and ate...sounds like a typical night with the guys! They had a blast and for the first time in five years we had nice enough weather to play OUTSIDE for his party!! The super family!!
