Twelve Weeks!

Where does the time go? Our sweet Cooper is already twelve weeks old. He is sleeping through the night like a pro. He laughs and squeals. He is a big smiler. Cooper is awesome! He is such a huge blessing for our family!!

Look Mom, I so preddy!

Eric loves to play with his big sis. Well, last night, Eric comes into the living room and says, "Look Mom, I so preddy!" Why, yes Buddy you are! "Thanks, Mom!"

So, of course I had to take a picture. And, at his request, I made sure to get the shoes in the pictures!! So here he is...Dorsey (aka Dorothy from Wizard of Oz). Needless to say, Daddy was NOT impressed and is NOT happy that I'm posting this picture! :)
Just a quick picture of our Cooper-Man! He is so SWEET!! He is sleeping through the night now and is just a great kid!!! And, as you can see...in these tough economic times, he's already figured out a way to earn a few bucks!! Kisses...25 cents!!
That's a bargain, if you ask me!

Halloween

So much Halloween fun! First there was the YMCA carnival. Then pumpkin carving. Then Rachel's school party. Then Trick-Or-Treating and all that topped off with a second carnival over at Trinity Baptist Church! Whewee!! What a fun week of dressing up!!

Rachel was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. Eric was a baseball player for the carnivals (easier to play in) and a red dragon for trick-or-treating. Cooper?? Just the cutest little horse ever!

Notice Rachel's hand holding his head down! So sweet...

They had the best looking pumpkin in the whole neighborhood!!

Daddy, aka Dr. McSteamy, with Dorothy and the Red Dragon!! SOOO cute! They had so much fun running through or neighborhood and MAN, they got tons of candy!!

This is before the YMCA carnival. Eric's look says it all! He LOVES his sissy!

Our beauitful Dorothy...so grown up and too tall to take her pictures under the counter this year!!

Future homerun hitter, right here!!

Cutest horse ever!!

Cooper summed up the entire week right here!!!

OU Airshow

This morning we went to the annual OU airport. Rachel and Eric had a fantastic time playing with all the airplanes. This first one is for Papa, Uncle Chad and Uncle Andrew. They are standing in front of a Texan.

Halle's Birthday & Cooper's Smile!

We spent last weekend down in Texas with all the McMullan family. It was a great time to see all the cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents and cats and dogs...lots of fun, lots of family!

The Sunday we were there, we celebrated Halle's FIFTH birthday party. It was a perfect tea party! Even the boys had a good time! Here are a few pictures of Halle's party. Aren't Rachel and Halle just so beautiful?! Goodness, we are in trouble!

Eric had a great time running around and here is his new smile...the full-faced toddler smile. Gotta love it!

Rachel and Jake...so sweet

Well, Cooper has been smiling for about two weeks now, but his first smile was at about three weeks. He's a happy kid!! Though, it is really hard to capture on film! He doesn't hold it long enough, I don't have the camera with me, or any number of other reasons. He's really starting to make eye-contact now and even tries to talk to us every now and then. Cooper is definitely an easy-going, laid back baby.
Here he is with Daddy and then his sweet smile!

ONE MONTH!

Wow! Where does the time go? Cooper is already ONE MONTH old! Here is our handsome little man. He is such a good boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family. I'm pretty sure he has no clue the chaos into which he has entered. But, he seems to love us well enough and his brother and sister can't get enough of him. Which is a really good thing!

Here he is in a little shirt Brooks' supervisor got him. How cute is that??!! Tho, he is not allowed to wear it on gameday anymore, seeing as we lost to Miami when he wore this shirt! Back to the OU onsie for this weekend's game!!

He had a bad day...

Today was just one of those days for Eric! We have been struggling with keeping him in his bed during nap time and bedtime. Today, I was nursing Cooper and heard Eric start to cry...mind you, he'd been "in bed" for about 30 minutes at this point. He usually just gets out of bed...he doesn't cry. And this was a CRY! One of those, I'm scared or in pain, type of cries. So, here is what I found. Apparently, we need to scoot the bed the extra three inches up to the wall!! Can't believe he got stuck!

Then, during dinner, I ran in to the bedroom for a few minutes only to hear the same cry! Here's what I found...a backwards facing Eric with his foot painfully stuck between the bars on the chair! Oh sweet Eric! What a day...and aren't I the best mom in the world! Instead of quickly helping my child, I run for the camera!! :)
