Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving this year was fantastic...unfortunately, I left my camera at my parents house so I only have pictures of half of it and Alicia is supposed to email me the McMullan half (hint-hint)!

Rachel and Eric in front of the fire!
Mom and Dad...so cute!
Chad and Jamie with the Toops! Jamie...what is that face? Do I dare ask? ha!!!!
Sweet Rachel!
It was such a great blessing to have Chad and Jamie in town...what a beautiful couple. Love having a new sister!
So, fam, remember how many pictures we took? Well, this was the first one!! Go figure that it turned the best! :)

I'm Just Tired of Cleaning...

After asking Eric to help me clean up a "small" mess that Cooper made with the tissue box...Eric's response after about 30 seconds was, "I'm just tired of cleaning..."
Me too, Buddy! Me too!!

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween, 2010!!
After a week of Halloween activities, I think the kids are finally recovering!! Pumpkin patch with cousin Halle, carnivals, hay-rides, and of course trick-or-treating!! What a great week!
Rachel as the "fairy-princess-butterfly!" Eric, also known as, IronMan. And our little stinker, Cooper the skunk!

Just before the hayride in mom and dad's neighborhood...mom the purple good witch! Cooper was a baseball player here!! Lucky boy, two costumes!
Cooper - doesn't he just look destined to play for the World Champs? Look out SF here comes Cooper!!
Cooper was allowed to trick-or-treat for a few houses. But, Daddy informed me that he was "holding them up." So, Cooper was relegated back home to pass out candy with mommy! We had a good time and he was the CUTEST skunk ever (except for Eric, Zachary and Austin who were also the skunk)!! :)
Fairy Princess Butterfly - Rachel and Daddy!
Cutie-Patootie, Cooper!!
Rachel and Halle and the pumpkin patch. We hope you had a great Halloween too!

Oh, how I love this boy...

Eric in his "policeman gear!"
Oh how I love this boy!!
He has us on our toes all the time and is just the funniest little thing!
**************
After accelerating to pass a car, Eric asked me,
"Mom, is there a car on your tail?"
**************
While at Wal-Mart Eric and Daddy were checking out across from the bathroom. So, naturally, Eric sees the bathroom and decides he needs to go. Daddy (watching, of course) sends him on his way only to have Eric - loudly - let him know that the bathroom is closed for cleaning. Before daddy could tell him to come back, Eric said, "I'll just go in the other one..." While walking into the ladies room, he shouts, "GIRLS!!! I'M COMING IN!!!"
***************
(Another bathroom story)!
While in his IronMan suit at the Y, Eric went into the boys bathroom while I stood outside the door with Cooper and two co-workers. A few minutes later, I hear, "Mom, I need help!" Only to see my naked son in the hallway with his IronMan suit and underwear down around his ankles!
***************
Everyday there is a story like this. I love this little man with all my heart and he is growing up way too fast!

Planes, Trains and the Kiddos...

What a fun few weekends we have had. We took the kids to see Thomas the Train up at the train museum. It was more like a tiny little fair. The kids LOVED it. It was the perfect afternoon outing!!
Rachel & Eric on the steps of a real train!!
Our little engineer!
Oh my goodness...this boy was so excited to see Thomas...
These were Thomas' "old shoes." Or so we told him! :)
Here they are waiting for Thomas to blow his steam!
This weekend we took the kids to the annual OU airshow. It's very interactive and the kids love climbing in and out of the planes!!
Looks like a natural.
No, they are not peeking out of Nemo's belly!! This was a really cool plane they had on display this year called the DC-3. Which is the same plane their Papa flew in during Vietnam!
At the controls!! Look back to October last year and you'll see a similar photo!!
