Girl Time

As a good-bye for one of our sweet Sunday School friends, we went to a paint your own pottery place this weekend...just us girls!! Rachel, Halle and I had a wonderful time visiting with all these sweet young ladies!! One thing I love to see is the beauty that both my daughter and niece possess. They are so kind and sweet. Their innocence is engaging and their love for life is refreshing!! Look at these sweet girls!!!

Father's Day 2011

To the most amazingly patient, kind, humble, creative, fun Father my kids could ever have! They are so blessed and I am even more blessed to be able to watch and experience this journey with you!! Thank you and happy Father's day!! I love you!!

First Season of T-ball!!

The big kids just finished up their first season of t-ball! Much to the delight of both grandpa's, I think we may have some future baseball/softball players in our midst!!

Rachel, though not the fastest base runner, really worked hard on putting her glove to the ball and moving her feet (which not all tballers do)!! She also greatly improved with her throwing and hitting skills!! But, alas, she is still our little Punky who really enjoys the company of her good friend Taylor out on the field with her!! Eric, is the man!!! The attention-span of the 3-4 year old league is not necessarily something we would like to experience again (sorry Coops). But, that aside, Eric did amazingly well at his first shot at a team sport! He's FAST! He loved to run after the ball. If everyone else missed it and the ball needed fielding, Eric was there!!! He also had lots of really solid hits!! He's amazing!!! And so cute out there!!!

Kindergarten...check!!!

Well, hard to believe...but Rachel is finishing up her last week of Kindergarten.

How is it possible that this girl has gone from my sweet 6lb baby girl, to this beautiful little lady?

Rachel, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! We love you so much!
Look at the difference from the first day of school to today! She's grown taller!! The dress now needs leggings under it!

My Children...Future Photographers!!

Brooks and I went out on a date night, and we thought we should have someone take a picture for us. Rachel and Eric both wanted turns. This one was taken by Eric...not bad!!So, at church on Sunday I had the camera with me and the kids saw it! Of course, now they think they have free range of the camera and really want to take more pictures for us! So, check out the picture Rachel took of Nana...so amazing!

And then Eric took this very artistic picture of Papa with the Wildwood sign in the background. Love it!!!

Rachel took this picture of Mom and me! So cute!!

Mother's Day, 2011!!

For Mother's Day at school with Rachel, her Kindergarten class did a Mother's Day tea party. It was so much fun. We both wore long flowing dresses and had very tasty treats. She also read me a sweet story that she wrote about me. Look at this beautiful girl...Look who greated me for breakfast in bed on Mother's Day morning! Who could resist loving this face!? How blessed I am!
