Today was Mermaid Day!
The first of our surprises for this trip was a little detour to Weeki Wachee, Florida where we got to see a real live mermaid show! Rachel was in Heaven as she continually repeated, "I knew they were real! I knew it!!" Eric wasn't nearly as impressed with it all, but I do think he thought the girls were pretty! He got a little shy once we got close to the mermaids! 
When we asked Eric if he wanted a picture with the mermaids, he got VERY shy, wouldn't talk and climbed up in daddy's arms. I think he thought they were a little too pretty!! 
We went on a little river cruise while we were there...we got to see some fish and a vulture.
