Happy 7th Anniversary!!

Dear Brooks! I love you! Happy 7th Anniversary!

You are by far the greatest gift from God. What an amazing husband, father and friend you are. Your example of a Godly husband is evident in all you do. Thank you for being a man of such integrity, sincerity and unconditional love! Mostly, thanks for putting up with me! I love you, now and always...

Cooper Samuel

Cooper Samuel McMullan made his grand entrance at 0854 on 09.09.09.
Cooper weighed 7.8 ounces and was 19.25" long.
The c-section was fast and I wish I could say painless, but oh well! Cooper is healthy and strong and doing really well!! I have tons of pictures and will post more in a bit, but here are a few highlight pictures from this past Wednesday!
Cooper, Mommy & Daddy.

Our first family photo!

Daddy and Cooper already making funny faces together!

Mommy and her baby boy!

Cooper coming home. Apparently, the Sooners were waiting for Cooper to watch this season of football, as they won big in honor of Coop's homecoming!
Thanks for all your prayers and support! We love you all and appreciate each of you.

Sweet Cousins!!

I'm so excited to have Lee and Zachary (sister-in-law and nephew) here for the birth of baby #3...and Chad and Jamie (older brother and fiancee) will be showing up late Thursday night! Now, if only my little brother could be here!! We've always been so lucky that the McMullan side of the family could be here for each birth...but, this time we traded off, it appears! Half of the McMullan's will be traveling to Disney World and the Jennings will be my moral support this time!
Rachel and Eric were SOOOOOO excited this morning...this was them waiting by the door for Zachary!
Eric and Zachary being silly boys!! I so wish they lived here so they could play together more!! And they DO play so well together!!
All three...Zachary, Rachel and Eric!

And my dad insisted on another pregnant picture. Here I am two days out from having the boy...Lee is 13 weeks!

Last Appointment!!

Yeah!! Today was my LAST OB appointment before the little man arrives!! I can't believe we are already to that point! We have almost everything ready. We were supposed to use this weekend to get the bassinet and swing down. The final baby preparations!! But, on Thursday, Brooks threw his back out during his "less-than" heroic efforts to save a two-year friend from colliding with Rachel on a swing. Poor guy, couldn't get to her fast enough, big kaboom, lots of blood and he's still walking like an old-man!! On top of that, I had the stomach flu. So, needless to say, we were not up in the attic getting together our final baby preparations!! We'll still have time this weekend and hopefully the kids will really have fun helping us get everything ready for "brother!"

I was blessed this past week with a baby shower put on by some great friends at the Y and they loaded me up with diapers, wipes and bath stuff! I'm SO thankful to have such great friends and even more thankful to see a closet full of diapers!

Anyway, I'm measuring right on target and all my levels of "everything" are normal. So...we are looking good and still planning on a birthday of 09-09-09!! So exciting! Almost there! Yahoo!!

First Day of Pre-K!

Yep!! I'm THAT mom!! But, how precious is our girl??!!

Wow...where has the time gone?? Rachel is already in Pre-K!?! What? Seriously?

We were SO proud of our big girl. She got up and dressed herself and then came out for breakfast and was ready with her backpack in perfect timing to jump in the car. We decided to all go and see her in for the first day. We (along with all the other parents) were there for her the entire time with our camera's flashing every two seconds!! Funny thing is, she didn't need us there. We walked her in. She waited patiently for her turn, wherein Ms. Miller showed her where her spot is for her backpack. Then she got her name tag, gave us all hugs and went and sat down on the mat. No problems!!!

Here we are walking across the field to the school in the distance!

I LOVE this picture!! She is standing on the big cougar paw print outside the front of her school. I went to the same school for K, half of 1st and 5th grades. It's fun for her to be a Cougar too!!

Rachel getting her name tag from Ms. Miller.

Our big girl! Where does the time go...wasn't this her just last week??

Lord, I need a cool-front!

So, if I haven't mentioned it before, being nine months pregnant during the hot, Oklahoma summer is NO fun! Lord, I need a cool-front!
