Back to School...already!!! 2011

Last week was a BUSY week in the McMullan household!! We finished up our last few days of summer and then got in high gear getting ready for school!!

Monday night started with Back-To-School night!! Eric is starting PreK this year and Rachel is our big first grader!!

Colorado - Lotsa Family Fun!

What an amazing time we had in Colorado!! The weather was perfect and the company even better. All thirteen of us stayed at a wonderful B&B. We did a train ride, went hiking and fishing, and did lots of outdoor fun stuff!!!

Rachel LOVED being out in the elements!! She loved fishing, and man, doesn't she fit the part!? Cooper with Mommy!! Love that boy!!On the train, Cooper and Allie had a great time...these two played so well together!!!

The day has come...

We always knew the day would come...the day when Eric starts outweigh his sister!! Well, yesterday at the doctor they were both weighed and Eric weighed in at 43.4, while "big" sis was only 43.0!!! Now, how much longer till he surpasses her in height??

Surely, we could not create such perfection? Alas, we did not alone..but HE did and gave us these amazing children!

Fourth of July - 2011

What a fun Fourth of July we had this summer! Despite being BRUTALLY hot (altho July 4th was only 102), we had a lot of fun over at Nana & Papa's house. Aunt G and Uncle Bob came down and we were blessed to have the Mears family celebrate with us as well! They have two kiddos the same age as Rachel and Eric and we've really loved getting to know this sweet family!!

The girls decided to put on a July 4th show for us and the boys were cute enough to go along with it!! Here is Rachel (in my tap costume from the 90's) singing her "fireworks" song! Cooper, Camden, Taylor, Rachel and Eric. Dad said that, although not his intention when building the house, the fireplace makes a great stage!

Cooper was a HAM!!!

The girls loved the sparklers. Cooper was asleep and Eric and Camden started wearing down. Camden did a few sparklers, but the girls really had a blast. We also got some glow bracelets that they hooked together and made some FUN light creations!!
