Downtown Disney & Swimming, Day #3!!

Downtown Disney was a fun way to spend our money...I mean, morning off! We were able to do our Disney shopping all at one time and it didn't have to interrupt our park time! We also had lots of fun photo opps and some fun Lego time!!

Then we headed to the pools for some fun activities and swim time! The water was a little cold for the 80 degrees that it was...so we spent most of the time in the hot tub under the waterfall!

Hollywood Studios, Day 2!!!

Once we got an extra snack in our belly and figured out that there were lots of cool shows to see, Day 2 ended up being as much of a success as Day 1!!

Eric LOVED the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. Here they are on one of the props.

Our next adventure was Star Wars!! Can you see C3-PO in the background! Mommy and Rachel weren't so crazy about the simulator ride...it was a bit too much for us. But, the boys LOVED it! And Eric loved going to outer-space where we got to beat Bobba-Fett!!

The Pixar parade was really cool and I have lots of fun pictures from it...but, here is just a highlight with Mr. Potato Head!

The kids at Ariel and Andy's Toy Room (we got there at 10am and our pass to enter the Toy Story ride wasn't until 4pm - they said they sell out by 11am or noon everyday)!

Night time at Hollywood Studios was so beautiful!! We danced in the lights and the snow fell on our heads! Such a perfect night!

Magic Kingdom, Day #1!!!!

We made it to the Magic Kingdom!!

Rachel and Eric on the ferry boat over to the MK!! Can you see the excitement in their smiles?! Rachel's face was priceless as we walked down Main Street toward the castle! She is a little frustrated with the whole thing, though. She keeps saying it's not fair that Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora can go in the castle but she can't...because she's a real princess, too!!

Magic Kingdom!!

Well, it is 8:33pm and I'm the only one still awake!!! The pictures are not downloading and I can barely keep my eyes open. So, for now, they will have to wait! Today was spectacular! Today was a day worth repeating...so, I guess we will need to do that...tomorrow!!

Surprise #2

Today, we are going to Disney World!

This morning we decided it was time to tell the kids about our year long surprise!! As parents we have built this moment up in our minds as being the most mind-blowing moment in our kids lives!! Well...it wasn't! Which, in a way is a good thing...Disney isn't the end-all of all for our kids. So, maybe they are a little more grounded than most kids their age? Or maybe our tactic was just wrong...darn it! Maybe we should have just told them instead of making her read it? Oh well...here is the moment. Eric figured it out without realizing what he was saying...

Well, after thirty minutes of trying to post the video...it's not uploading. So, I'll have to edit and post when I get home! It's pretty cute though!

Surprise #1

Today was Mermaid Day!

The first of our surprises for this trip was a little detour to Weeki Wachee, Florida where we got to see a real live mermaid show! Rachel was in Heaven as she continually repeated, "I knew they were real! I knew it!!" Eric wasn't nearly as impressed with it all, but I do think he thought the girls were pretty! He got a little shy once we got close to the mermaids!

When we asked Eric if he wanted a picture with the mermaids, he got VERY shy, wouldn't talk and climbed up in daddy's arms. I think he thought they were a little too pretty!! We went on a little river cruise while we were there...we got to see some fish and a vulture.
