Home on The Range!

On Saturday, Dad, Brooks and I took the kids down to Lawton to enjoy the Buffalo Range. For work, Dad and I had a fish fry to attend...so, we decided to make a day of it. The only bad part was that the day was cold, rainy and did I mention, cold? Yes, hats and gloves cold! Poor Eric -we grabbed the wrong hat, so this is Eric in his infant hat that my grandmother made him!! What a cutie!

Even the buffalo decided it was too cold to roam around. So, the closest we got to a buffalo was in the museum! The kids didn't seem to notice and had a great time. Rachel LOVES to climb and kept telling us how "amazing" she was because she can climb mountains now!
Eric was enthralled with the button that made a turkey sound. He made that gobble noise about twenty times!! And, Papa definitely had a good time teaching the kids about all the animals!

Over all, it was a fun time...but next time, we'll plan it for a weekend were we can have our picnic outside, rather than inside the car!!!
