Memorial Day Weekend

Well, instead of laying out at the lake or taking in a movie or going to the pool with friends, we had a working weekend! I suppose it's the nesting part of the pregnancy taking over. Nonetheless, my SWEET husband humored me and was so productive this weekend. Brooks and Dad got the play set started...word to the wise: IF YOU DECIDED TO BUY A PLAY SET, PUT IT IN YOUR BUDGET TO HAVE THEM INSTALL IT!!! They got a great start, and then Brooks and I got about 1/2 way finished with it by Monday afternoon! Manual labor - ugh! It's not hard, just tedious! Check out this very burnt stud working so hard just for me!!!

We also got started on Eric's big-boy room. Check out these two handsome men!! I love my boys!!! Eric has finally started to be okay with some of his stuff moving into his new room. Here are some before and during pictures. After we get the bed set up, I'll give the full effect and after pictures!!

Sunday night we did manage to sneak in a quick trip to the city to have dinner with my Aunt Gloria and Bob! It was a YUMMY dinner complete with homemade ice-cream courteous of Papa. We always have a good time at G's and the kids are already asking when we can go back! I love that they love their aunt G so much!!!! Hope you all had a fun and safe weekend!! XOXO
