Welcome to the family:
BABY BOY MCMULLAN!!!
What a blessing! We, yes all four of us, went in for the ultrasound this morning. What a an experience. While in the waiting room, Rachel kept turning to me saying, "when will it be our turn? I want to see the baby!" Though, she was quite disappointed when she found out it was another brother. So much so, that one nurse actually knew what it was before we told her because of Rachel's expression and folded arms! However, I have already made it a point to explain to Rachel how lucky we are because now Rachel and Mommy are the only two girls - which means we get to do everything girly, just the two of us. So, she promptly asked me if she could pretend that I was a sister. Sweet girl...
We've never found out the gender of our babies, so this was a new, albeit strange, experience. Usually, when we find out, we get to take the baby home...not just his pictures!!! So, I'm actually a little sad that I still have to wait another four months to hold ________. We can already tell that he and Eric look different. Their personalities are already different, too. This little guy is content to just lay around and not do too much. But, he would fight back when the sonographer would bounce my belly to get him to move. Literally, he would punch up at her pushing on him. Quite funny! Other than that, he seems a bit more like Rachel in that he moves only when he needs to, but he doesn't wrestle around 24-7 like Eric! From what I can see, everything looks good. I saw all four chambers of the heart so that is encouraging. Otherwise, Laura, you'll have to tell me what you see from these pictures...you're my expert!
Baby Boy was measuring only four days younger than my due date, so looks like the due date will remain the same. Unfortunately, my doctor is not in the office of Friday's, so we could not schedule the c-section today. BUT...if all goes as planned, looks like we'll get to deliver him on 09-09-09! I'll confirm that next week at our doctor appointment!
So, here he is! Check out our son. Our sweet blessing! The very first shot was of him with his legs wide open showing off his male parts. He wanted there to be no mistake that he was boy. I'll spare him the embarrassment and not post that one. But, here is a great profile and straight on face shot! So, say hi to our new baby boy! We can't wait to meet him!!!

Woo hoo!! How exciting!! Tell Rachel that I am the big sister to two little brothers and I always wanted a sister too. So look what God gave me. Three daughters of my own to see them be sisters.
You guys are so extremely blessed. I will now pray that he is the easiest and most laid back baby. Our #3 is!
Congrats!
Yay! We like boys! Jake is excited too...ell, kinda. I told him that Aunt Samantha's baby in her belly is a boy to which he replied. " Yeah, I already knew that. He told me he was a boy at Gran's house."
Very exciting! Can't wait to meet the new little guy :)
