Why I LOVE May...

I love May...it's the month Brooks and I started dating (in 2001). It's Mother's Day. It's my birthday. It's still the perfect weather to have all the windows open. It's spring...flowers are blooming and the world is coming alive. All the neighbor's start coming out of their homes and it's just a happy time of year!

I had a great Mother's Day complete with breakfast in bed! The day before we went to Andy Alligator's and celebrated Mother's Day with Brooks' mom, sister and brother - plus families! It was tons of fun and the kids had a good time too!!

And my birthday was special. I enjoyed having the whole weekend to be with my family. Even if the stomach flu did strike me and Brooks!! Oh well!!!

And no! I am NOT 35...nor am I 52 (if you count all the candles)! Rachel and Eric decorated this cake for me with the help of Papa! It's a job well done, even if they did get the age a bit too high!!! :)
